Turtle Table
by Hella Jongerius
On the Turtle table, the top is a landscape of alternating layers of plywood and resin, a geology that the turtle travels (almost in motion). Seduction-repulsion, the presentation to which Hella Jongerius submits us is troubling, it makes design an exercise of transgression, which invites all manner of fantasies and questions the codes and stances of a society that has lost the innate sense of nature.
