Autofocus exhibition
by Xavier Veilhan

“Autofocus refers to the focus needed to understand these blurred shapes. By digitally modifying the surfaces of the statues, details have been removed, leaving more room for the posture of each model. Here, the sculpture itself is blurred, rather than being the result of a distorted perception: The silhouettes are therefore reconstructed by the viewer’s vision, from their “fuzzy” nature.” – Xavier Veilhan
